My Story
October 11, 2020 marked my 7 year anniversary as a Scentsy Consultant. It's the longest that I've stuck with anything. Originally, I joined to earn a discount on what I was going to buy anyway. Over the years, my "WHY" has evolved. While I still enjoy getting my fragrance fix, what I do this for now is for how it makes me feel. I've always been the girl to stand in the background and off to the side, I hate the spotlight and I'm shy around people I've never met or don't know very well. This company has given me a sense of empowerment and a new level of confidence and self worth. During the past 7 months, in the midst of a pandemic I set new goals for myself and what I wanted to do with this side hustle I love so much. I decided I want my side hustle to become my main hustle and knew that I wanted to be fully self employed in the next 3 years. I went to work. 6 out of the 7 months I have earned a monthly sales award with Scentsy. I've turned a little bit of Target money into actual income that can help pay my bills or go on vacations. I've built a team who I do my best to lead every day. I want to show them how Scentsy can change their life like it did mine. All it takes is a little hard work. I'm now on track to be self employed not in 3 years, but in one. I can't wait for the moment that I'm no longer working for the weekend and dreading Monday morning. I love that this "job" doesn't feel like a job to me, I'm just sharing a product that I love and use every single day. Thanks to Scentsy I have met some amazing people and have made some wonderful friends. All the while no longer being the girl who stands in the back ground and is afraid to shine.
